The Mieruko-Chan manga is also selling decently, but I’m interested in seeing if volume 7 can reach 100,000.
How many copies does Mieruko-Chan have in print? As of 2021/10/18, the Mieruko-Chan series had 1,000,000 copies in print.
It is not in the top 300 most popular manga series of all time.
How much merchandise is there for Mieruko-Chan? There are so far no figurines, which is a shame because I would buy one of Miko. There are also fewer than 75 pieces of merchandise made for this series so far.
Hopefully, some figures and more merchandise will be announced in the coming months.
I think it’s clear now that this series didn’t flop and made some money.
It’s too early to tell if it made enough money for a second season. It will be much easier to tell how well this anime sells in the next 3 to 6 months.

Mieruko-Chan Season 2 Release Date
As of January 2022, Mieruko-Chan Season 2 doesn’t have a release date as it is not confirmed yet. However, we should get some news about the second season of Mieruko-Chan in 2022.
The earliest release date for Mieruko-Chan season 2 is 2023.
There is more than enough source material for a second season, and it looks like this series sold decently.
This series also seems popular on social media, and even the official Twitter account has almost 100,000 followers already.
That means streaming made some good money for it, which is critical for the possibility of a new season in 2022.
So a new season of Mieruko-Chan has a good chance of happening, but we’ll have to wait a little longer to be sure because the series just ended.
On average, it takes around two years for a one-cour series to get a next season, which is why 2023 as a release date sounds about right.
Even if it is released in 2023, we should still get the Mieruko-Chan Season 2 announcement in 2022.
Studio Passione did a pretty good job with the first season, and they don’t seem that busy, so I doubt they would not have time for a new season in 2023.
I would say that if Kadokawa doesn’t announce the second season this year or in early 2023, then it’s not happening. So let’s hope for the best.
